Why Puff Count Alone Is Not Enough to Compare Disposable Vapes
The puff count (for example "up to 40,000 puffs") is a maximum rated figure, not a measured promise. There is no single test method shared by every brand, so ratings from different manufacturers are not directly comparable. Several other factors decide how long a device actually lasts for you:
- E-liquid capacity: the amount of e-liquid is the real limit. For example, the Al Fakher Crown Bar Pro Max 15K is listed with 22ml and the Crown Bar Mega Max 40K with 30ml. The puff rating nearly triples while the e-liquid grows by about a third, which shows how much the rating depends on the assumed puff size.
- Power mode: stronger modes use more e-liquid per puff, so brands rate them lower. The VOZOL Star Click 50K is rated up to 50,000 puffs in Regular Mode and 35,000 in Power Mode; the VOZOL Rave 40K up to 40,000 in Regular and 25,000 in Surge.
- Draw length and airflow: long draws and an open airflow setting vaporise more e-liquid each time.
