XLIM devices use XLIM cartridges and are aimed mainly at MTL and RDL vaping, with the draw depending on cartridge resistance and airflow. All of them top out at 30W.

- Resistance guide: as a general rule on our XLIM cartridge page, 0.6–0.8Ω suits MTL freebase and 1.2Ω suits nicotine salt. The 0.4Ω cartridge gives a more open, warmer draw at higher wattage.
- Wattage: stay within the range printed on each cartridge; on adjustable models start at the lower end.
- Spares: keep at least one spare cartridge of the right family, because XLIM and NeXLIM parts are not interchangeable.
